Advocate: A Graphic Memoir

After posting autobiographical comics since 2020, I’m very happy to announce that Penguin Random House will publish my graphic memoir, Advocate, which is about my life and work as an environmental justice lawyer.

Building up an audience online has been a lot of fun, leading to recognition from random strangers in cafes, bakeries, and my work in the community…and honing my craft for a “Big Five” publisher has been an extraordinary amount of labor unto itself.
